About the Club
The Williamson County Gem & Mineral Society is a Georgetown-based club dedicated to the study and enjoyment of rocks, minerals, gems, fossils, and lapidary arts for hobbyists and collectors of all ages. Members meet on the second Sunday of most months at the Georgetown Parks & Recreation Administration Building and host a popular annual show each February at the Georgetown Community Center in San Gabriel Park. The club publishes Pickin's and Diggin's, its member newsletter, to share news, field trip reports, and upcoming events. Visit wcgms.org for current club information.
