About the Club

The Pleasant Oaks Gem and Mineral Club of Dallas is a not-for-profit organization established for charitable and educational purposes, promoting interest in earth sciences including gems, minerals, fossils, gemstone cutting and polishing, metal crafts, and jewelry arts. Monthly meetings feature hands-on sessions in mineral identification, wire wrapping, and lapidary skills, along with guest speakers and field trips. Visitors are welcome at any monthly meeting.
