About the Club

The Paleontological Society of Austin (PSoA) is a scientific, non-profit community organization devoted to the study of fossils, with a focus on Texas paleontology. The club holds monthly meetings featuring programs and specimen exchanges, organizes field trips, and provides educational outreach to schools and youth groups. PSoA is affiliated with both the South Central Federation of Mineralogical Societies (SCFMS) and the American Federation of Mineral Societies (AFMS). Visitors are welcome at any monthly meeting.
