About the Club

The Northeast Louisiana Gem & Mineral Society serves collectors and earth science enthusiasts in the West Monroe area, meeting on the first Monday of each month at the Glenwood Medical Mall Community Room. The club explores the rockhounding opportunities of northeastern Louisiana, including the region's petrified wood, agates, and other natural treasures. Members receive the club's newsletter, Pebble Talk, and are connected to the broader mineralogical community through SCFMS District 8 membership.
