About the Club
The East Texas Gem and Mineral Society has served the East Texas community since 1956 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to educating and promoting the study of geology, mineralogy, gemology, fossils, and the lapidary arts across all 14 East Texas counties. The club offers an annual $500 scholarship and hosts an annual gemstone and jewelry show as its major fundraiser. Visitors are welcome at any monthly meeting.
