About the Club
The Central Texas Gem & Mineral Society is an active club based in Abilene, Texas, dedicated to the enjoyment and study of gems, minerals, fossils, and lapidary arts. The club meets weekly, making it one of the most frequently gathering clubs in the region. Each spring the society hosts a gem and mineral show at the Taylor County Expo Center, drawing dealers and collectors from across West Texas and beyond.
