About the Club
The Baton Rouge Gem and Mineral Society has served Louisiana's capital region for decades, meeting monthly at the Bluebonnet Regional Branch Library. Each August the society presents its annual gem and mineral show at the Lamar-Dixon Expo Center in Gonzales, featuring dealers, displays, and educational exhibits for collectors of all experience levels. The club's Redstick Rockhound News bulletin keeps members up to date on activities and rockhounding opportunities across the Gulf Coast region.
