About the Club
The Austin Gem and Mineral Society is a community of rockhounds, lapidaries, and collectors based in Austin, Texas, welcoming enthusiasts of all experience levels. Members gather monthly to share knowledge about gemstones, minerals, fossils, and lapidary arts, and to enjoy field trips to collecting sites throughout the region. The club maintains its own clubhouse at 6719 Burnet Lane, providing a dedicated space for meetings, workshops, and hands-on activities.
